Friday Five

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year?
Setting and sticking to my path for school. Really thinking about what my goals are and setting plans in motion to accomplish them.

The '30' mug! (sorry sweetie) - Just kidding, I'm not really sure about this one. I can't recall being really disappointed about anything.

3. What do you hope the new year brings?
Happiness.

4. Will you be making any New Year's resolutions? If yes, what will they be?
Same cliche' resolution everyone always makes - Lose weight. I also want to be more organized and take more time to enjoy things I don't get time to do, like reading, theatre, art, music etc.

5. What are your plans for New Year's Eve?
Working. We have a small private NYE party that we're DJing.

Friday Five

1. Do you enjoy the cold weather and snow for the holidays?
Hate the cold! Like to look at the fresh fallen snow, when it's all white and pretty, but other than that, don't like snow much either. I don't do any 'snow' activities, so I could really care less if it never snowed again.

2. What is your ideal holiday celebration? How, where, with whom would you celebrate to make things perfect?
I would love it if I could have a nice little holiday party with my close friends & family, but I don't have the space at the moment. The holidays are always very difficult due to my 'family' situation, but having people like Matt, Chandra, Marissa and my sisters (Heff & Jill) and her family helps a lot. I'm truly fortunate to have an awesome extended family.

3. Do you do have any holiday traditions?
I have a few things that I like to do every year like watch the Grinch (the original of course) and I usually spend Christmas Eve with my sister and her family, but other than that not too much. I'm hoping to start some new traditions with Matt.

4. Do you do anything to help the needy?
For the past couple of years myself and some of my co-workers sponsor a family or two in need and get them presents and gift certificates for groceries to help them have a happy holidays. I'm not as charitable as I'd like to be though.

5. What one gift would you like for yourself?
If money were no object - A new CAR :)
